AI Escape

Game Intro:

The AI Escapes is a local multiplayer action/puzzle game, where two players share the same camera perspective which can only be controlled by one of the players. This player needs to put the camera at the right place/angle so the other player can take the right action accordingly. The game objectives - escaping, will only be achieved when two players working closely together. This is a solo project currently under development.

Note:

This build is for PC only.

All the models, music used in this demo are temporary models, and will be replaced in the further development. The main purpose of this demo is to demonstrate the core co-op game play and the basic level design. If the game didn’t work, there is a recorded DEMO video under this folder.

Content Update:

In this version of the demo, the game is built specifically around the character movements and player control, most of the puzzle elements are temporarily taken away from the game, so testers can have a more direct game experience about coordinate moves.

• New robot player movement animation, speed, rotation rate.
• New drone player controller, animation and perspective.

Control:

This game is a local multiplayer game, it requires two players to control the characters.

Drone player (P1):

• Rotate camera: Mouse
• Move: Arrow keys
• Changing camera perspective: Mid mouse

Robot player (P2):

• Move: WASD
• Sprint: hold left Shift
• Crouch: hold C
• Prone: C + Spacebar
• Interact: press E
• Break breakable item/Throwing: J
• Climb: press E after interact

Game Objective:

Reach to the top of the tower before the drone ran out of its battery.
